Welcome to Sota AI Video Generator, a creative space for designers, content creators and curious beginners. These Terms of Use set out the simple rules for using the app, which is provided by Gerd Nordenskiöld. Effective date: 21.10.2026.

Saying yes

By downloading, opening or using Sota, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your licence to create

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Sota on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the Apple App Store rules. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or try to extract the app's code or models, or interfere with its servers.

Creating responsibly

Explore freely, but keep it fair. Do not use Sota to create or share content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights, including their likeness, privacy or intellectual property. Do not use the app to impersonate real people in a misleading way, to overload or attack the service, or to get around usage limits. We may limit or stop access if the app is misused.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid features are offered through Apple In-App Purchase. All payments, billing, renewals and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store under Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Who owns what

The app itself, including its design, software, name and branding, belongs to Gerd Nordenskiöld and is protected by intellectual property laws. What you bring and what you make is yours: you keep ownership of your prompts and inputs, and, to the extent the law allows, of the videos you generate. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to run the service and deliver your results. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you provide and for how you use your generated videos.

About AI output

Generated videos are created by AI and may sometimes be unexpected, inaccurate or similar to other output. Please review what you create before relying on it or sharing it.

No guarantees

Sota is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet a particular purpose.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Gerd Nordenskiöld is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or content, arising from your use of the app or its output. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded.

When these terms change

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will show the latest version. Continuing to use Sota after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
